Quotes
“Introducing us to some of her tracks was impressive to say the least. Sounding a cross between Siouxsie Sue and the Banshees and Alison Goldfrapp she definitely has something going for her and the band… She left me wanting more.” Artrocker
“She seems more like Laurie Anderson or a paper-maché Pipettes than an I-can-do-what-you-can-do label cash-in.” Line Out, blog
“Can’t put my finger on it, but she’s definitely got something…when they gather around the Big Drum for some tribal action it’s no t unlike seeing a bunch of spirit vultures circle their prey” Amelia’s Magazine
“The style and elegance in the performances at Glastonbury exude a confidence which I adore. Her quirky nature and individual fashion sense mean that she is always going to stand out against a sea of drab female performers.” Indiescreet, blog
“Bettinson's voice and stage demeanour oozes a sneaky, sheepish femme fatale-itude that’s utterly beguiling and has understandably caused quite a stir of late.” Drowned In Sound, blog
“The songs are seductive, slowly intoxicating the listener after initial apathy, oddball and a bit experimental” Some Of It Was True, blog
“Long time RFB favourite and be-sequined femme fatale delivers another exceptional vocal performance that soars above the fuzzy bass and whirring guitars.” Rockfeedback
